FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: single-decker coke furnace with or without heat recycling has a coke furnace chamber 1 and a coke furnace bottom 2 having channels, connected by gas channels 3. In the wall of the furnace of in the furnace door, there are holes for feeding a first air stream through a pipe 4 and one or more holes or channels for feeding a second air stream through a pipe 5 to the bottom of the coke furnace 2. The coke furnace is connected to a device for measuring concentration of components of the gas in the coke furnace chamber 1, at the coke furnace bottom 2 and/or gas outlet channel 6. The measuring device is connected to a computer unit 16 which is connected through control channels 19 to control valves 7 and 8 for the first and second air streams, respectively.
EFFECT: invention provides optimised supply of first and second air streams, increases output of the furnace and cuts coking time.
