FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device for supply of combustion air of coke furnace gas to a coking chamber of the coke furnace with or without heat utilisation is proposed. Upper part of coke furnace is equipped with holes, through which primary air is supplied to it, and lower part of coke surface is equipped with holes, through which it is heated with secondary air. The furnace is equipped with the so called down coming gas lines that allow directing the product of partial gas combustion inside the furnace for combustion by means of secondary air to lower furnace zone - in side furnace wall above the door zone or in upper door part there is one or more non-controlled holes made from fire-resistant material and intended for direction of some part of primary air, and in upper furnace zone there are additional air supply channels with suction connection pipes, which are led through upper furnace surface and equipped with controlled locking elements. With that, additional primary air is passed via the above channels with suction connection pipes. A non-controlled hole above the furnace door or in the furnace door represents a nozzle-like device made from fire-resistant aluminous or siliceous oxide material or from siliceous-aluminous oxide material, and the above hole converges in its cross section in flow direction in the pipe; as a result, higher flow velocity appears in the pipe. Besides, a method for supply of combustion air of gas in a coking chamber of coke furnaces is proposed.
EFFECT: control of air supply, which leads to uniform coke production.
