SUBSTANCE: air-tightness of personal protective gear is determined by evaluating change in the colour of indicator underclothes in infectious conditions in leakage points by converting visual information to digital. When evaluating leakage of personal protective gear from the change in the colour of the used indicator underclothes, the dependency of conformity of the dosage (Cτ) of chlorine vapour by indicator standards and change in the colour of the indicator standards expressed in (R), (G) and (B) is determined: Cτ=6.218-5.323·lgG+3.397·lgB, where 252≥R≥248, after which Cτ is determined for each part of the indicator underclothes with the changed colour from the dependency given above, with subsequent evaluation of the coefficient of leakage in order to determine the degree of air-tightness of the personal protective gear.
