FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises switch (SW3) of connection circuit (504) is connected in between signal line (L2) derived from input contact terminal (T1) for pilot signal (CPLT) in input connector assembly (270) for charging, and grounding line (L3) connected to transport facility frame (518). Switch (SW3) is cut in/out in response to control signal from CPU (512). CPU (512) instructs cutting in of switch (SW3) when connector (310) is not connected to input connector assembly (270) for charging and detects open circuit condition in control pilot line (LI) in response to variation, or absence of variation, in electric potential of pilot signal (CPLT).
EFFECT: detection of faults in pilot signal, that ism open circuit condition in control line.
