SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to means of hygiene and may be used to clean teeth. A handle element of a toothbrush in an electric toothbrush (1) comprises a body of (4) the handle element, preferably a rod-like transmission (7) for a forced-on brush (3), besides, the transmission (7) protrudes at the first side (5) of the body from the body (4) of the handle element, and also a drive engine (8) to put the transmission (7) in motion. The transmission (7) is installed with the help of a support accessory (9) inside the body (4) of the handle element as a yoke so that the transmission (7) may be rocked by the drive engine (8) back and forth perpendicularly to its longitudinal direction. The transmission (7) is retained with the support accessory (9) with the possibility of oscillation around a centre (10) of rotation, which is installed outside the body (4) of the handle element and outside the transmission, on a virtual extension of the transmission axis. The group of inventions also includes an electric toothbrush, comprising a handle element (2) of the toothbrush and a forced-on toothbrush (3), which is fixed on the transmission (7) of the handle element (2).

EFFECT: provision of efficient cleaning motion with high cleaning amplitude in the area of the site with bristle in combination with a slight amplitude of the toothbrush vibration in the area of lips.
