FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of ophthalmic surgery. Artificial eye lens contains optical part and bearing element, provided with through shaped slots. Slots are made in form of two simple figures, located symmetrically relative to longitudinal and diametrical axes of AEL symmetry, which pass through the centre of optical part. Each of figures is made in form of two similar, connected to each other curvilinear sections, each of which is formed by two parallel bases, connected with two concaved towards each other lateral sides. Axes of symmetry of each of curvilinear sections are mutually perpendicular and cross in the centre of symmetry of curvilinear figure. One of those axes is superposed with longitudinal axis of AEL symmetry.
EFFECT: application of invention will ensure optimisation and minimisation of movement with implantation instruments, reduce terms of operation, reduce trauma of eye tissues, increase organ preservation with simultaneous increase of comfort in work of ophthalmic surgeon.
