FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in stages of provision of cleaned surfaces of magnesium and manganese alloy and of contact of surfaces with treating solution. Solution for treatment corresponds to water solution or water dispersion with pH within the ranges from 0.5 to 5. It includes at least one fluoro-silicic acid, at least one soluble in water reagent for setting value of pH, if necessary, at least one surface-active substance and in case of necessity one compound or any their combination. Also, reagent for setting value of pH corresponds to at least one alkali silane, silanol, poly-siloxane chosen from such compounds with at least one amine group, with at least one ureide group, with at least one imine group or with any combination of these groups. Well visible coating is produced by means of treating solution and, in case of necessity, there is applied at least one additional coating during additional stages.

EFFECT: production of well visually distinguishable non-chromate conversion coating increasing corrosion resistance and adhesion capacity of magnesium and manganese alloys relative to paint.
