FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: receiver tries to decode each received data unit. If a data unit is successfully decoded, the receiver sends a positive feedback to a transmitter, if a data unit is decoded unsuccessfully, the receiver sends a negative feedback to a transmitter. In all cases the receiver applies at least the first and the second feedback mechanisms to send positive and negative feedback. In an approximate version of realisation, messages of reception acknowledgement (ACK) and negative acknowledgement (NACK) are sent in response to reception of each data unit along the first unreliable channel, and messages on condition that identify ordinal numbers of individual data units are periodically sent along the second reliable channel; the receiver preferably removes data units from its transfer window, only after reception of a status message that indicates successful decoding.
EFFECT: efficient control of repeated transfer of data units in wireless communication system, where multiple mechanisms of additional feedback are used to control a repeated transfer.
