FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, oncology, and can be used for treating surface bladder cancer. That is ensured by intrabladder thermochemotherapy. The patient is pronated. Electrodes are placed on a patient's body surface from below in a suprapubic area and from above in a sacral area, and repositioned. The high frequency waves are generated, regulated and passed to the electrodes. A main catheter is inserted into the bladder. An intracavitary temperature-sensitive element is introduced in the bladder through a catheter opening by means of a supplementary catheter. The bladder tissues and a mitomycin solution introduced into the bladder are heated to temperature 40-43°C. And the mitomycin solution is introduced in a single dose 40-60 mg and kept for 45-60 minutes. The intracavitary temperature-sensitive element is used to record and control temperature in the bladder.
EFFECT: method allows improving chemopreparation permeability of the bladder tissues, enabling uniform tumour and chemopreparation heating, reducing side actions and complications.
