FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water resources protection. Prior to operation, suction valve 7 is intended of the end of the water duct 5, put down into the water before the dam 6. Air duct 12 is laid into aerated pool ahead of dam 6 and submerged to bottom and anchored thereto by anchors 13. To start proposed plant, aforesaid suction vale 7 of water duct 5 and valve 8 to control power of turbine 9 are closed. Water pump 1 is cut in to force water via starting valve 3, water intake pipeline 2 and starting valve 4 into pool 5. Then, starting valve 4 is closed, water pump 1 and turbine power control valve 3 are cut off. Water running in water duct 5 drive turbine 9 to start, in its turn, compressor 10, that forces compressed air into air duct 12. Sprayers 14 are used to saturate pool stagnant zone with oxygen.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and power savings.
