FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diagnostics of fuel systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). Disclosed is a method of diagnosing fuel injection system (FFS) of injector ICE, including measurement of such current values of diagnostic parameters, as current pressure and fuel efficiency in FFS systems of discrete and continuous fuel injection into inlet channel, as well as current pressure and fuel output in low-pressure loop (LPL) of direct fuel injection system and supply of low-pressure electric fuel pumps included in FFS and LPL, determination of calculated values of said parameters in function of ICE rated power, fuel temperature and air temperature at inlet, comparing calculated values with measured current values and determining technical diagnosis of FFS and LPL.

EFFECT: invention enables to diagnose all types of fuel feed systems (FFS) and low-pressure loops (LPL) of injector ICE in the absence of standard and reference values of diagnostic parameters and provides simple and fast determination of reliable technical diagnosis of FFS and LPL.
