FIELD: monitoring and diagnostic systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control and diagnostics of dead-end gasoline supply system (GSS) and low pressure loop (LPL) of automotive injection ICE. At high rpm of ICE or at rated voltage of test voltage source (TVS), through flow monitor of gasoline supply system (MGSS), setting the reference full ICE load, at which, for at least 1 minute, graphs of current values of gasoline flow rate and pressure are recorded, the record is reproduced, based on the analysis of graphs, the final matrix of current GSS/LPL conditions is formed and compared with a pre-compiled GSS/LPL operating condition matrix. If the matrices are equal, the technical condition of the GSS/LPL is determined as operable, and, if unequal, as inoperative, which allows to proceed reasonably to laborious and fire hazardous operations for dismantling of GSS/LPL components, search, identification and localization of the defect.
EFFECT: technical result is fast and reliable rapid diagnosis of GSS/LPL by MGSS, which is connected between supply line and fuel filler neck, and fuel rail or high-pressure fuel pump is connected to test system for supply of gasoline, from which start ICE, and if it does not start, activate electric fuel pump from TVS.
