FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method, images of forest lands are produced, and spectral characteristic of light flux reflected from leaf canopy is measured. The sign of the derivative spectral characteristic is tracked. Weight average value of wavelength is calculated in the reflected flow and fractal size (Ω) of an analysed section. The phase of affection (P) is quantitatively detected using the regression curve: where: λref - weight average wave length of the reflected spectrum of reference (healthy) section; Ωref - fractal size of reference section image; λ, Ω - current values of rated parameters of the analysed section.
EFFECT: higher validity and accuracy of identification.
