FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: Petri dishes are filled with hormone-free medium by Murasige-Skoog, which contains a half set of macrosalts and vitamins, and agar and saccharose are added. Then half of the medium is removed in each dish using a scalpel. Having taken a step away from the upper border of the remaining medium half, a "window" is cut practically for the whole width of the dish. Flax sprouts separated from tylosis are placed into such prepared Petri dishes, and by horizontal piercing through a medium "bridge", each sprout is moved until the stem cut touches surface of that part of the medium, which is located below the "window". Dishes with sprouts arranged in them are placed vertically in light facilities.
EFFECT: preparation of dishes ensures quick induction of rhizogenesis in flax sprouts; intensive development of root system helps to quickly establish an optimal endogenic balance of hormones, which makes it possible for plants to easily adapt to ex vitro growing conditions.
