FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is intended for producing crystalline powders of sub micron sizes. Initial powder is ground in evacuated ball mill in atmosphere of helium at its pressure exceeding atmospheric pressure. Powder, thus ground, is subjected to short-time grinding in air by ultrasound to reduce dispersion and stabilise particle sizes.
EFFECT: increase efficiency of grinding crystalline powders, reduce energy expenses and produce high qualoty powders.
