FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: magnetic liquid is poured into a vessel with a flat bottom and then placed in a magnetic field. The magnetic field strength vector is aligned such that its vertical component is present. The magnetic field strength value is changed. The surface of the magnetic liquid is illuminated with light sources of different colour. Power of said sources is controlled and synchronised with the magnetic field strength value.
EFFECT: easy use and clear demonstration of physical properties of magnetic liquids.
