FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of stabiliser vanes and may be used in production of high-speed aircraft tail units. Eye welding points are provided with grooves with depth making 0.05…0.15 of root width to receive eyes with temporary clearance making 0.2…0.4 of root maximum thickness. Billets are clamped together in assembly welding appliance at preset aerodynamic angle. Eyes are welded in place in atmosphere of protective gas on root concave side by root penetration on detachable underlayer and producing extra weld seam jointing root to eye to ensure cyclic equal-strength zone. Vane is subjected to final thermal and mechanical processing.
EFFECT: higher operating performances of vanes, possibility of visual control over weld joints.
