SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic flow metre consists of tube unit (105) connected to carrier of converters (135). Front surface (140) of the carrier coinciding with external surface of the tube unit and adjoining it side walls (145, 150) form slot (175) with seat (165, 170) for installation of piezo-electric converters. Flexible cover (120) of the cable connected to the piezo-electric converter is installed into grooves (155, 160) made in the said side walls. The cover travels in the grooves. The cable passes from the converter along front surface (140) through surface over seat (165, 170) between a gap and the cover. The cover is of module type in form of a continuous chain of interconnected links. The chain includes a group of pivot connections each formed with a pin of one link and a seat of another. According to versions of the inventions the flexible cover can be made in form of a flat metal plate or plastic sheet.
EFFECT: reliable protection of cable of ultrasonic flow metres with dimensions varied in wide range from difficult environment.
