FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: heat shielding coating is applied on metal surface with belt convergence. An obtained sample rotates between heating surfaces with a minimal gap of 1 mm. At thermo-mechanical effect with growth of temperature of sample heating mechanical loading of the sample is increased with centrifugal force by increasing rotation velocity. The sample is subjected to this effect till there occurs bending destruction of columnar structure of heat shielding coating. The device consists of a heat resistant ring with at least one sample attached to it, of a rotating disk whereon there is secured the heat resistant ring, of an inductor for sample heating, of a converter of frequency with wire connected to the rotating disk, of a temperature sensor with a thermo-couple installed at output of the inductor and of a control system connected to the thermo-couple, a current source and the frequency converter. The inductor corresponds to two narrow approximately 10 mm rings exceeding diametre of the heat resistant ring. The sample is positioned between these two rings. The temperature sensor is preliminary calibrated by measuring colour signals of at least one calibrating colour applied on the sample.
EFFECT: increased functionality of imitation of loading conditions of heat shielding coating.
