FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: in compliance with proposed method, spectral data on mixes obtained for several, points on specimen surface are resolved into component spectra and concentrations. Proposed method comprises preliminary estimation whereat all spectral magnitudes of specimen first component are taken to be equal ("no-operation simulation") and said component is resolved. Then, other components are resolved consecutively by iteration proceeding from initial estimation of no-operation simulation of said components and spectra preliminarily resolved. In general case, when main component is made up of purely set of data, said no-operation simulation results in more accurate resolution of spectra.

EFFECT: possibility to resolve pure spectra of secondary components without simulation of main component concentrations.
