FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of inversion current voltage detection of benzylpenicillin involving preparation of a copper (II) solution and determination of its concentration following preliminary peak anodic attack electroreduction where copper (II) is transformed in a complex compound with benzylpenicillin, and benzylpenicillin is detected by a difference between the initial concentration of copper (II) ions (CH) and the residual concentration of copper (II) ions unreacted with benzylpenicillin (C0) in the presence of a background electrolyte of formic acid described by formula CPen=2·(CH-C0).
EFFECT: invention allows detecting benzylpenicillin from the solution of the analysed complex.
