FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method is based on occurrence of sensibilised anti-Stokes luminescence during transmission of electron excitation energy from a donor molecule on the tip of a probe to an acceptor at the surface of a sample. The donor used is organic dye molecules. The acceptor used is metal atoms and nanoclusters adsorbed on the surface of crystalline samples. When the end of the probe approaches an atom or nanocluster adsorbed on the surface of the sample by a distance of the order of a Forster radius equal to 1-15 nm, the sensibilised anti-Stokes luminescence of the crystal is recorded.
EFFECT: preserving high resolution, ensuring high shift between energy of quanta of exciting light and quanta of the recorded radiation, high sensitivity.
