SUBSTANCE: phosphor based on yttrium oxysulfide, activated by Er3+ ions, sensitized by Yb3+ ions, has a composition corresponding to the following empirical formula:
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the depth of photostimulated quenching of Stokes infrared luminescence without significant changes to the initial radiation source spectral composition, under the combined action of exciting IR radiation in the range of 0,79-0,82 micrometers or 0,94-0,98 micrometers, and stimulating radiation in the range of 0,30-0,75 micrometers.
