FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to neurology, immunology and occupational diseases, and makes it possible to carry out diagnostics of chronic mercury intoxication. Patient undergoes immunologic testing with determination of the following immunologic indices: content of immunoglobulin A, autoantibodies to native DNA, autoantibodies to protein S-100, levels of interleukin 4, interleukin 6, tumour necrosis factor α, absolute number of T-helpers, relative number of natural killers. On the basis of obtained data, diagnostic coefficients F1 and F2 are calculated, and if F1 is greater than F2, chronic mercury intoxication is diagnosed, if F1 is lower than F2, chronic mercury intoxication is excluded.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to carry out diagnostics of chronic mercury intoxication with high degree of accuracy, and can be used in carrying out mass dispensary examinations of working people, aimed at detection of pathology.
