FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: procedure for fabrication of a flexible multi-layer pipe consists in band spiral winding on an overhung mandrel with overlapping edges of neighbour coils of the band and in drying. A layer of binding material is applied at least along one end of the band on the side facing the mandrel. Also, simultaneously on a progressively moving mandrel there are spiral wound three bands arranged invariantly relative to turn at 120° and having equal strength and width. A lower band forming specified geometry of cross section is wound simultaneously with application of a binding substance with overlapping neighbour coils at not more, than 10-15 % of band width. A middle reinforcing band is wound with set off at 40-60 % by band width relative to the forming width, producing a similar edge whereto a binding substance is simultaneously applied. An external lining band is wound onto the reinforcing band with set off at 40-60 % by width and with formation of similar edges where coils of each band are inclined at 10°-30°. Also, ratio of rate of band supply to rate of the mandrel is 0.07-0.09.
EFFECT: raised efficiency at fabrication of multi-layer pipe and its reduced deformation at disassembly, reduced defects of pipe structure.
