FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine 101 incorporates turbocharger with VGT 103 to drive vehicle 10 with gearbox 105. Proposed method consists in detecting up shifting 203, determining effective VGT flow section, determining maximum tolerable closure for CGT 201 and VGT control 205. Maximum tolerable closure for CGT is determined proceeding from revealed effective flow section. Control over VGT 205 consists in reaching maximum closure on revealing gearshifting. CGT position for various effective flow sections may be kept on maps. Note here that maximum tolerable VGT closure may be determined from said map. Maximum tolerable VGT closure may be updated many times in gearshifting. Besides, invention comprises ICE control system, computer software product 110 for control over ICE 101 and digital data carrier 108. Digital data carrier 108 comprises computer software product 110.
EFFECT: fast gearshifting deceleration in gearshifting.
