FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: control method of ICE (101) containing turbo-supercharger with turbine (103) with variable geometry (VGT) and bringing into action the automobile (10) with gearbox (105) consists in detection of the event indicating that gear shifting of automobile (303) will probably occur in near future, determination of effective flow passage for VGT, determination of maximum allowable closed position for VGT (301) and control of VGT (305). Maximum allowable closed position for VGT is determined based on already determined effective flow passage. Control of VGT (305) consists in achievement of maximum allowable closed position when the event pointing at probable gear shifting is found. VGT positions for various effective flow passages can be kept on the map. At that, maximum allowable closed position for VGT is determined according to the map. It is possible to control exhaust gas pressure till maximum allowable pressure is reached without VGT safety risk. Maximum allowable closed position of VGT can be renewed for many times during gear shifting. Reduced consumed torque moment can be the event which points at probable gear shifting. Also, the invention deals with control system of ICE (101), computer-aided programme product (110) for control of ICE (101) and digital information carrier (108). Digital information carrier (108) includes computer-aided programme product (110).
EFFECT: quick gear shifting and quick achievement of ICE speed during gear shifting.
