SUBSTANCE: method is implemented by preparing histological sections of a subdural hematoma capsule, measuring the maximum thickness of the capsule, the relative volume of a capsule hemosiderosis and the relative fraction of macrophages in a cell infiltrate of the subdural hematoma capsules and obtaining a point and interval estimate of prescription of the subdural hematoma with any degree of confidence probability by formula T=5.748+0.012 ℓ + 154.452h+14.487m±7.873tα;40, where T is prescription of the subdural hematoma, days; ℓ is the maximum thickness of the capsule, mcm; h is the relative volume of the capsule hemosiderosis; m is the relative fraction of macrophages in the cell infiltrate of the capsule; tα; 40 is a value of t-criterion with a reliable significance level α and 40 degrees of freedom.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of determining prescription of the chronic subdural hematomas and possibility of obtaining the interval estimates of prescription at any levels of confidence probability.
