SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to forensic medicine. Histological sections in the focus of brain contusion are estimated for exudation in the absence of granular spheres, the absence of astrocytic gliosis, the presence of granular spheres. Then a priori probabilities of brain contusion formation in primary and consecutive brain injuries are calculated by formulas P(t₁)=1-exp(-0.01413725t₁) and P(t₂)=exp(-0.01413725t₂) for a sign of exudation in the absence of granular spheres, P(t₁)=1-exp(-0.00820681t₁) and P(t₂)=exp(-0.00820681t₂) for a sign of the absence of astrocytic gliosis,

for a sign of the presence of granular spheres, where t₁ is prescription of a consecutive brain injury, h; t₂ is prescription of a primary brain injury, h; P (t₁) is a priori probability of brain contusion formation in consecutive brain injury; P (t₂) is a priori probability of brain contusion formation in a primary brain injury; x is an integration variable. Then a posteriori probability of brain contusion formation are calculated in primary and consecutive brain injury by formulas where P₁ is a posteriori probability of brain contusion formation in consecutive brain injury; P₂ is a posteriori probability of brain contusion formation in primary brain injury.

EFFECT: method extends range of aids to determine prescription of brain contusion in consecutive brain injury.
