FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of obtaining fluorescent derivatives of dextrans intended for studying transport of biologically active substances through cell membranes and studying mechanisms of medication action at cell and subcell levels. Method of obtaining includes carrying out reaction of fluorescent dye with activated oxidised dextran with further purification of final product from admixtures by ultra filtration. As fluorescent dye used is fluorescein, as activating agent -1,1'-carbonyldiimidasol, activation of oxidised dextran being carried out by addition of 1,1'-carbonyldiimidasol in reaction mixture of oxidised dextran with fluorescein.
