FIELD: internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in supercharged internal combustion engines. Operation method of supercharged engine system includes selective deactivation of cylinder combination of valve mechanisms of individual cylinders in response to supercharge request. Cylinder combination is selected to direct exhaust from active cylinders into one scroll of multi-exhaust turbine (392). One snail of the multi-lag outlet turbine is selected by one or both of the following parameters: turbine rpm and supercharging request. First, higher-flowing scroll (395) is selected when the exhaust turbine rotation frequency is higher at the time when the supercharging request is received. Second, lower-flow volute (397) is selected when the exhaust turbine rotation frequency is lower at the time when the supercharging request is received. Disclosed are methods (embodiments) of operation of engine system with supercharging.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of operating characteristics of turbosupercharger at low volumes of exhaust gases.
