FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to orthopedics and traumatology. Under arthroscope control on medial edge of patella extraarticularly made is 2.5-3.0 cm long and 0.3-0.5 cm deep skin cut in projection of rupture of medial patellofemoral ligament. Layer-by-layer in blunt and sharp manner access to medial edge of patella in place of patellofemoral ligament abruption is realised and 2-3 titanium anchors with 3.0 cm diameter are installed. By means of anchor threads extraarticularly horizontal "П"-shaped sutures are applied on rupture of medial patellofemoral ligament.
EFFECT: method reconstructs ligament anatomy and strengthens injured ligament.
