FIELD: ore mining.
SUBSTANCE: enrichment of iron ore charge for use at mining and processing plants for production of iron ore concentrates. The method of enrichment of hematite-containing iron ores includes staged wet magnetic separation with separation of the pulp into magnetic and non-magnetic fractions, grinding and flotation. The magnetic fraction after wet magnetic separation (1) is subjected to classification (1), after which the sands are sent for grinding (1) and then returned to classification (1), and the drain is sent for desliming, after which the sludge is discharged into tailings, and the sands are sent to wet magnetic separation (2), after which the non-magnetic fraction is sent to main flotation (1), and the magnetic fraction – to wet magnetic separation (3), after which the non-magnetic fraction is sent to main flotation (1), and the magnetic fraction – to wet magnetic separation (4 ), after which the non-magnetic fraction is fed to main flotation (1), and the magnetic fraction – to thickening (2), after which the drain enters the circulating water, and the sands are fed to filtration with the formation of filtrate that is returned to thickening (2), and with formation of cake, which is a commercial concentrate. The non-magnetic fraction after wet magnetic separation (1) is fed to main flotation (1), the foam product of which is removed to the tailings, and the chamber product is sent to classification (2), the sands of which are sent for grinding (2), after which they are returned for classification (2), the drain is fed to main flotation (2), the foam product of which is taken to the tailings, and the chamber product is sent to classification (3), the sands of which are sent for grinding (3), after which they are returned to classification (3), and the drain is fed to main flotation (3), the foam product of which is sent to tailings, and the chamber product is sent to cleaner flotation, the chamber product of which is sent to thickening (2), and the foam product to thickening (1), the discharge of which is sent to recycled water, sand – to mechanical activation and then to control flotation (1), the foam product of which is discharged to tailings, and the chamber product is sent to scavenger flotation (2), the foam product of which is discharged to tailings, and the chamber product – to thickening (2). According to the second variant of the method, the magnetic fraction of wet magnetic separation (4) is sent to thickening (1), after which the drain is discharged into circulating water, and the sands are sent to filtration, after which the filtrate is fed to thickening (1), and the resulting cake is a commercial concentrate, the foamy product of the cleaner flotation is taken to the tailings, and the chamber product is fed to thickening (1).
EFFECT: improved efficiency of the process of extracting iron-containing minerals from hematite-containing iron ores and obtaining iron ore concentrate with an iron content of 66.6-68.6% with an extraction of 76-77%.
