FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to device intended for producing reticulate grooves and surface hardening by plastic deformation. Device comprises burnishing head wherein two rolls and holder are fitted on axles, said holder being jointed with burnishing head. Holder and burnished are keyed together. Key faces are skewed. Holder is made up of bar with one side provided with groove to receive O-ring and key slot while its other side may be fixed in machine tool holder. Burnishing head represents a shackle with key slot and is arranged at straight angle to holder and locked by said O-ring. Key is fitted in key slot of holder with interference fit and, in burnishing head, its is arranged with clearance to allow burnishing head to turn therein.
EFFECT: ease of replacement and use, no additional adjustments.
