FIELD: material cutting, working precise openings.

SUBSTANCE: boring bar includes body rigidly joined with stem; mounted in body cutter holder having key preventing turning over; dial screwed-on to cutter holder; and spring. In order to enlarge manufacturing possibilities and to enhance vibration proofness, boring bar is provided with rope. Spring is mounted in stem. There is axial opening in body. Rope is passed through said axial opening for engaging by its one end with spring and by its other end with cutter holder. Boring bar may be provided with lock screw for engaging with body and with cutter holder.

EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, improved vibration proofness.
