FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: toner contains at least a binder resin and a colouring agent, has a specific hue angle and an absorbance at specific wavelengths in reflectance spectrophotometry, and a method of forming a full-colour image involving the use of such toner. The method comprises step for forming an electrostatic image on a charged electrostatic image bearing member, developing the formed electrostatic image with the toner to form a toner image, transferring the formed toner image onto a transfer material, and fixing the transferred toner image to form a fixed image.

EFFECT: production of cyan, magenta, yellow and black toner, each of which enables to form a quality image having resolution and definition which is higher than for any other image, has good colour gamma, good saturation and good brightness even in mixed colours; and has low surface roughness; and design of a method of forming a full-colour image using any of the said toners.
