SUBSTANCE: system of electric equipment monitoring and control comprises an operator's control panel, arranged with the possibility to transfer radio signals, monitored electric equipment, including a radio signal reception device, a radio identifier, stationary radio concentrators, a unit of radio concentrators monitoring, a line of radio concentrators communication, a local computer network with a server and an automated workplace, an Internet gateway. The method describes operation of this system.
EFFECT: remote monitoring in real-time mode on a certain territory, both over the moved electric equipment and precise movement of a person with an ID, and also their accurate location detection.
