FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery and can be used for treatment of cancer of rectum. Performed are lower median laparotomy, revision of abdominal organs, opening of pelvic peritoneum by two semilunar cuts, mobilisation of rectum by blunt and sharp methods. Rectum is ablated with entire pararectal cellular tissue. Hydrogel, based on sodium alginate with addition of E-aminocaproic acid and lidocaine with the following component ratio 100:(4-7):(1 -2) respectively, is applied on wound surface in even layer. Hydrogel is introduced into presacral space until the latter is completely filled. If wound is open hydrogel is preliminarily applied on tampons, which are placed into presacral space, with filling free space between peritoneum and tampons with hydrogel. Air-tight peritonisation is performed by sutures with 5-7 mm step.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce application of injection hemostatics and blood components thus reducing allergy load on organism.
