FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: disk planetary variator consists of cylinder section of case (1), of internal and external central friction disks (2, 4) and row of satellites arranged between them. The rotating and axially shifting satellites are fixed on pivoted levers (9). Each row of the variator is made as a separate module. Cylinder part of case (1), pivoted levers (9) and their axes (10), and also input shaft (5) of each module can be connected to the same parts of another module, also, to end covers (14, 22) of the variator. Input shaft (5) connected with central internal friction disks (4) of all modules and output shaft (15) connected to carriers (12) of all modules can be led out from these covers.
EFFECT: raised rigidity, strength, kinematic accuracy and efficiency of variator.
