FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in transmissions of various machines. The disk planetary variator contains cylindrical part of body (1), external and internal central friction discs (2, 4) and one row of satellites (3) placed between them which satellites are fixed with possibility to rotate and being displaced on slewing arms (9). Each row of variator is made as separate module. The cylindrical part of body (1), the slewing arms (9) and their pins (10), as well as input shaft (5) of each module are made capable to accept connection to them both similar parts of other module and end covers (14, 22) of variator with possibility to draw out of them the output shaft (5), connected with internal friction discs (4) of all modules, and the output shaft (15), connected with carriers (12) of all modules.
EFFECT: invention permits to increase rigidity, strength, kinematical accuracy and coefficient of efficiency variator.
