FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: one of gyro packages of platform stabilisation system is used. Levelling of the platform relative to one of stabilisation axes is performed with accelerometre by disconnecting it from moment detector of platform stabilisation gyro package relative to this axis and by connecting it to the appropriate stabilisation engine. Prior to the beginning of measurements the platform is roughly corrected as to azimuth to meridian and retained in that position with Memory mode. Platform azimuth is determined as per the information from angle transmitter of precession of stabilisation gyro package and information from sensors of accelerometres.
EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities.
