FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: one of gyroblocks of a system of stabilisation of a gyrostabilised platofrm is used, at the same time horizontalising of the platform relative to one of the axes is carried out by disconnection of an accelerometer from a sensor of moments of the stabilisation system gyroblock along this axis and its connected to the appropriate engine of stabilisation via the stabilisation amplifier. Before start of measurements one of axes related to the platform of the triaxial gyrostabiliser is roughly reduced by azimuth to the meridian. Simultaneously with reading of informationn from a wide-range code sensor of the gyroblock unit, they calculate nominal values of this angle in accordance with the equation of nominal motion, and the azimuth of the sensitivity axis of the gyroblock is determined by information signals on the basis of the difference between nominal values of the angle of gyroblock precession and appropriate values of the sensor of the angle of this gyroblock.

EFFECT: increased accuracy and reduced time for determination of azimuth of basic direction related to a platform of a triaxial gyrostabiliser.
