FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: bolometric systems are tested using a photoluminescent crystal radiator of infrared and after-pulses in the visible spectral range with the same spatial intensity distribution. Duration of the infrared pulse is equal to or shorter than the time resolution of the tested bolometric systems. When testing the dynamic range of infrared bolometric systems, a series of amplitude values of heat pulses of the crystal radiator are given in the interval of the nominal sensitivity of the bolometer or on the level of specifications of the bolometric systems.

EFFECT: shorter time and higher time resolution of testing infrared bolometric systems.
