FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for evaluating the efficacy of drug-induced therapy of patients suffering polypous rhinosinusitis involving blood analysis for the pre- and post-treatment protein quotient content. As a protein quotient, blood serum is analysed for the lipopolysaccharide binding protein amount, and if observing the value increasing twice and more as compared with the initial value, capacity and duration of anti-inflammatory glucocorticosteroid therapy are considered to be sufficient with capacity contraction and gradual withdrawal of the preparation. The value increasing less than twice shows inadequate therapy requiring the initial doses of the preparations to be corrected or prolonged treatment.
EFFECT: higher reliability and simplification of the method for evaluating the efficacy of drug-induced therapy, reduced number of injures.
