FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: systems and methods are described, which facilitate using preambles of power control with the help of methods of closed circuit power control in the wireless communication medium. The upperlink representation may be transferred along the downlink (for instance, the first representation of the upperlink after inaction of the upperlink), and the power control preamble may be sent along the upperlink in response to the representation of the upperlink. According to the example, the power control preamble transfer may be planned explicitly and/or planned implicitly. The power control preamble may be transferred with the power level determined by an access terminal, using a mechanism of open circuit power control. The basic station may analyse the power control preamble and generate a power control command based on it, in order to correct the power level used by the access terminal. Afterwards the access terminal may use the power control command to adjust the power level to transfer data along the upperlink.
EFFECT: obtaining sufficient signal-noise ratios at various speeds of data transfer and widths of transfer bands for communication along the upperlink.
