FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method to produce seed tapes includes application of seeds onto the tape and its further closing by means of twisting along the longitudinal axis. The seed tape is made of external and internal tapes. In the centre of the external tape there is a highly hygroscopic heat resistant agent, in the middle of which there is the internal twisted tape with seeds. Longitudinal edges of the external tape are left free and are adhered with a water resistant glue around the content.
EFFECT: increased crop capacity of a cultivated crop by improvement of seeds germinating ability and increased provision of plants with moisture and nutrition during the period of vegetation.
