SUBSTANCE: carcass layer 3 is applied on outer surface 14 of assembly drum 10 to suit diameter D1 that exceeds mount diameter D0 of tire 2. Note here that carcass layer 3 has rim strips 3a axially opposed. Ring fixture 3 defining mount diameter D0 is secured coaxially around each rim strip 3a. Outer sleeve 24 comprising at least one breaker structure 7, possible coupled with tread bracelet 8, is located in coaxially centered position around carcass sleeve 21 applied on assembly drum 10. Two halves 10a of assembly drum 10 are displaced axially to make sleeve 21 a torus to allow its fit to inner radial surface of outer sleeve 24. Invention relates to device to this end and locks for carcass sleeve fasteners.
EFFECT: locking of carcass sleeve, reduced tire deformation.
