FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to assembling of tires. In compliance with this method, building core is produced made up of two halves that may displace axially toward each other. At least, one carcass layer is applied around outer peripheral surface of said building core. At least, one carcass layer is formed into toroidal shape and aforesaid halves are drawn together. After application and before forming, at least, one auxiliary forming element is coupled with building core. One auxiliary forming element differs from building core and is coupled therewith to be formed into toroidal shape and aforesaid halves are drawn together.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality.
