SUBSTANCE: invention consists in the method of extrusion processing of forage grain. Forage grain after harvesting from a field with the moisture of 14…25% is exposed to preliminary treatment, then extruded, without additional moistening, grinding and other types of crushing, the extrudate is cooled by ventilation to remove excessive moisture, if the forage grain moisture is more than 25%, then after its preliminary treatment it is additionally exposed to active ventilation till the moisture of 22…25%.
EFFECT: using this invention will make it possible to produce a high-quality product with high food properties as a result of physical-mechanical treatment of moist forage grain in an extruder at lower power and labour inputs.
