FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed system comprises synchronous generator excited by permanent magnets, two-link gate voltage converter incorporating one self-contained pulse gate converter arranged on generator and load sides. Every output of said converter arranged on generator side is connected with braking resistor by switchboard device.

EFFECT: dissipation of generated power fraction and smaller sizes of braking resistors.
